An interesting and disappointing issue I found.
turns out the MCP is not getting connected with the Command node as well.
To re-produce:
• Add n8n-nodes-mcp community node in the N8N app.
• then once the node is installed, Create a credential in the node for Stdio setup
• In the command give npx
• In the arguments give: -y mcp-grafana -t stdio
• In the Environments add the value GRAFANA_URL='',GRAFANA_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_TOKEN=''
• after Saving the credentials execute the node. and you will see that the MCP is not connecting there as well.
I’m starting to feel like that this is an inherent n8n issue. But why?
can you provide a useable docker yaml for this stack?
