I am a Datadog Pro user and I want to check the traffic source report for my website. I want to know how many users come from social media and what % of traffic comes from other blogs, etc.
Is it tracked in data dog pro?
If yes from where can I access it?
i believe this will completely depend on what you are sending to datadog and how you are managing it. Datadogs RUM feature for example could be used to track some of this.
If you are looking to track site metrics across multiple site including marketing campaigns you might want to look at using another tool that is designed for that function.
For example,
Google analytics
Semrush
hubspot analytics
heap
Thank you , you were correct I was able to find this info in RUM
We can use the view attribute view.referrer
to get the URL of the previous web page from which a link to the currently requested page was followed. The view.referrer
attribute is one of many default attributes that is collected in every RUM event.
