[AWS]Has anyone been able to go beyond the 1k hard cap on S3?

Has anyone been able to go beyond the 1k hard cap on S3? Google storage has no cap and I find this cap ridiculous.

Maybe if you give them enough money they’ll go higher, but I haven’t seen it personally. There are plenty of workarounds depending on your use case, though.

Since the names are globally unique and have special purposes at times, like static site hosting, opening to unlimited might be dangerous in certain cases since it would enable name squatting.

I’m not sure this is what the limit exists, but it’s a reason I can think of.

The 1000 limit is per account. You could move to using a multi account strategy.
